Welcome to Musashino Coffee, a charming cafe nestled in the heart of Kichijoji, Tokyo. This delightful establishment, situated at 1-16-11 Ogikubo Building in Musashino City, offers a unique blend of nostalgia and modern comfort that makes it a must-visit for both locals and travelers alike.

As you step inside, you're greeted by an elegant, non-smoking ambiance that feels both cozy and inviting. The decor evokes a sense of warmth and charm, perfect for unwinding with a book or catching up with friends. The cafe is beautifully adorned with lovely ceramics that add a touch of artistry to each drink served.

Musashino Coffee is particularly renowned for its exceptional coffee, with many patrons singing praises about their experience. The cappuccino is a standout, noted for its delightful sweetness topped with a luscious swirl of whipped cream. As one customer, Elisabeth Barker, eloquently puts it, "It’s so fun to sit at the counter and watch them make coffee," embodying the cafe's dedication to both craftsmanship and customer engagement.

For those with a sweet tooth, the menu showcases a mouthwatering selection of delicate desserts, including fluffy pancakes that have garnered rave reviews for their airy texture. Regulars like customer Kunwara Raroengjai find joy in enjoying their pancakes alongside a perfect cup of coffee while soaking in the relaxing terrace seat atmosphere, which is also pet-friendly!

While some patrons noted that service may come across as a bit reserved, the quality of the coffee and the serenity of the space more than compensates for this. Lil expresses how Musashino Coffee is the "loveliest cafe in Kichijoji," where one can savor delectable desserts like pudding and cheesecake that enhance the overall experience.

If you're in search of a serene spot that combines the art of coffee brewing with delectable treats in a nostalgic setting, Musashino Coffee is your destination. I love this shop’s pancake. The texture was so soft and tender, and the coffee was so nice. I chose the terrace seat because it was crowed inside. Pet was allowed for terrace seat.

Loveliest cafe in Kichijoji You can feel nostalgia and have relax time with delicious coffee and some desserts We ordered pudding and cheesecake and both are great The service is not that friendly (I don’t mean they’re rude, but just quiet) Overall I highly recommend this retro cafe:)

Such a cute cafe. I’ve been multiple times because the coffee is so delicious and the owners are so sweet and attentive. It’s so fun to sit at the counter and watch them make coffee. Highly recommend the cappuccino, it’s on the sweeter side because it has whipped cream, but is so yummy.

I've been to elegant coffee shops all through Europe. And this is the closest thing I have found to a fine European coffee shop in Tokyo. The atmosphere, design and decor. The elegant dishware. An excellent selection of single source and blend coffees. A well trained and educated staff. All come together to make this coffee shop a relaxing, exquisite, yet unpretentious experience. No surprise this shop has been here for 40 years!
